Awards
Wheatbelt employers, students, organisations and individuals involved in training are encouraged to nominate for the 2012 Wheatbelt Training Awards. Each category winners will receive $400, a custom designed trophy and certificate.
Categories
Wheatbelt Apprentice of the Year
Must be registered with the Department of Training and Workforce Development. Must have engaged in ‘off-the-job’ training with a registered training provider.
Wheatbelt Trainee of the Year
Must be registered with the Department of Training and Workforce Development.
Wheatbelt Vocational Student of the Year
Must be a full time or part time student in vocational education who is ineligible for Apprentice or Trainee Awards.
Wheatbelt Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year
Must be of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent and meet the eligibility of any of the above student categories.
Wheatbelt School Based Trainee of the Year
Must be a full time student in a public or private secondary school or an alternative education program within the Wheatbelt region.
